Staging Tips: Lighting

Lighting is the key to not only good photos but a great experience when potential buyers are touring your home. We all walk into homes full of light and feel welcome. Nothing kills a showing faster than walking into a cave-like atmosphere.

One of the easiest and inexpensive updates you can do to your home is to update your lighting fixtures! Nothing says 1980 like these before lights: Yes, they still sell them in box stores because they are cheap!

For just a few more dollars, you can get more on trend lights that won’t break the bank.

Once you have more on trend light fixtures, replace your light bulbs, use the same temperature of light bulbs in the same room, I light do stay within the 2700-3000 Kelvin scale. The lower the number, the more yellow the light is and the higher the number, the more blue.
